Pasta Evangelists deliver everything you need to prepare restaurant quality Italian cuisine at home in minutes. They differ from traditional meal kit services in two key ways:
Rather than offering a broad range of dishes, Pasta Evangelists unashamedly specialise in one type of cuisine. In fact, their website boldly claims that they believe they are delivering the best pasta in the U.K. The founder was inspired to bring the freshness and quality of the pastificio-style pasta he grew up making by hand with his Nonna in Italy to British kitchens. Ingredients are sourced seasonally and sustainably from a network of farmers and growers across Italy.
The other thing I think that makes this service unique is the speed and ease of which the meals come together. It takes just a few minutes to heat and combine the ingredients. Even I can follow the simple instructions and, as anyone that knows me can confirm, I am not the best cook. With this service is it more like heating and assembling rather actual cooking as 90% of the work has already been done for you. The step by step instructions make the preparation pretty much fool proof:
Pumpkin Ravioli with a Sage Butter Sauce

Ravioli is one of my go-tos for a quick meal and this was by far the best I have ever had at home: Rich, creamy and really did taste like it could’ve come from a restaurant.
Gnocchi with Gorgonzola Sauce & Walnuts

The delicate, cloud like gnocchi are light, fluffy and melt in the mouth. These little bites of heaven swim in a deliciously creamy Gorgonzola sauce which is complemented by the crunch of the walnut crumb. Again restaurant quality food in the comfort of my home.
There is a weekly menu of 10 dishes to choose from. As well as an array of pasta varieties, gnocchi also appears regularly. Prices range from around £7-10 depending on the dish. Double portions can also be ordered with a 15% saving. Some weeks there is also the option to add apertivo snack boxes (£6.50), charcuterie platters (£6.50), desserts (price around £6) and or cocktails (prices around £7):

Customers have the choice of placing a one off order or taking out a subscription. Subscribers benefit from free delivery and a 15% saving on dishes. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly deliveries are available on your chosen day of the week. You can have multiple subscriptions if you want more than one delivery per week. Subscriptions are commitment-free and can be paused or cancelled at any time. You can log into your account and pick which dishes you would like to receive for each delivery (2 dish minimum). Otherwise you will receive a chef’s selection based on your dietary preferences. Vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan and gluten free options are available.
All recipes can be kept in the fridge for 1 day after delivery. Alternatively, freeze on the day of delivery for up to a month. Defrosting instructions are included in the box.
I was blown away that I was able to enjoy such phenomenal food at home and highly recommend this service. Have you tried Pasta Evangelists? If so, what are your thoughts? If not, do you plan on doing so?
