Three Great: Lightweight Foundations

Now that autumn is upon us I’m using my full coverage Hourglass vanish stick foundation a lot, however temperatures hit the 20’s today and I wanted something more sheer. Lightweight foundations are a great option for milder September days. Here are three that I like that also contain skincare benefits:

BareMinerals Bare Skin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation

This has the texture of a serum whilst also giving you buildable coverage (from sheer to full) and an angelic glow. The foundation and skin brightening serum in one feels weightless and looks flawless. Vitamin C and antioxidants help to defend against environmental stressors and spf 20 shields skin from UV rays. I keep coming back to this multitasker time and again as I know I can rely on it for beautiful yet natural looking coverage. Bareskin is one of my favourite foundations of all time.

Dior Nude Air Serum Foundation

This unique water light foundation gives a gorgeous glow with sheer coverage. I recommend using a smoothing primer, if like me you have been on this planet long enough to have some line, as this formula can settle into creases. Dior claim that their oxygen Activ™ technology, a combination of a hyper-oxygenated oil, cranberry oil, vitamins and minerals, helps skin to look more beautiful over time.

Becca Aqualumious Foundation

This is sheer, glowy foundation is made with pure spring water, sunflower oil and vitamin E. Skin looks radiant and luminious thanks to flexible colour pigments and liquid lumininisers however coverage is very minimal (this foundation is 32% of water). Unless I’m having a really good skin day I tend to want something with more opacity. This foundation will be stunning on clear, normal to dry skin.
