Designed to be taken away on summer trips, I like to pick up these Estée Lauder brands sample sets even if I’m not going anywhere. These bundles are fantastic value and are so great for trying new things and or amassing handy gym bag friendly sized toiletries. This second addition contains over £70 worth of goodies for just £25.
Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Shampoo and Conditioner
I love every Bumble and Bumble product I’ve tried and these guys are no exception. This pair are the perfect size for ensuring glossy locks for the duration of your holiday. The invisible oil range is designed to give moisture to dry, course hair so I was a bit nervous to use these on my fine hair that seems to get greasy around five minutes after washing! Thankfully duo also worked for my locks, adding moisture without an oily finish:
Bobbi Brown Eye Opening Mascara
This mascara gives fat lashes that resemble spiders legs (in a sexy way of course!). I really love the jumbo brush which works in conjunction with the formula to give mega volume as well as lifted and curled lashes. This black mascara amps up lashes and makes them the focus of your look. Here I am wearing just one coat of eye opening mascara:
Aveda Shampure Body Lotion
At first glance I thought this was a shampoo. I will happily look past the weird name since this stuff is like an aromatherapy session in body lotion form. The 25 flower and plant extracts give this a beautiful, herbal scent. Olive oil also helps add moisture to the skin. It’s so convenient having a mini body lotion to pop in my gym bag. This takes a while to sink in but is worth it for the intense moisture it provides.
Origins a Perfect World Antioxidant Cleanser with White Tea
This pearly face wash contains antioxidant-rich white tea to help preserve skin’s youth. The dirt grabbing minerals give skin a really good cleanse. Oils of palm, coconut and oat amino acid help to detoxify and free skin of harmful, free radical-releasing impurities before they cause damage. oxidation, deterioration and dehydration. This is recommended for all skin types.
Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Gel Moisuriser
I’ve been wanting to try this moisturiser for a really long time. With active ingredients of coffee and ginseng this is described as a shot of espresso for your face. My skin is oily combination so I really like using gel-creams to hydrate with less weight. This has an uplifting fresh and citrusy fragrance. This moisturiser promises a healthy vibrant glow has a five star rating on the origins website and also gets my seal of approval.
Clinique Take the day off make up remover
I am a huge fan of the classic ‘take the day off’ cleansing balm so had high hopes for this makeup remover for lids, lashes and lips. I was not disappointed; the bi-phase formula makes short work of eye makeup, mascara and lipstick. This has a five star rating on the Clinique website and I can see why, this is one of the better make up removers I have tried. Again this mini is great for travelling.
Mac Lipstick Liptensity Lipstick
The final item in the box is a full sized lipstick in the shade ginger rose. This lipstick is heavily pigmented opaque gel formula with a satin finish. This goes on super smooth thanks to the luxurious gelled base melts which melts on contact with the lips. The pink hue and opaque finish of this lipstick give me 60’s vibes. This is not a lipstick that I would’ve bought alone but I can see myself wearing this when I feel like a bit of a change. I think that part of the beauty of these samples sets is the fact you end up with items in your collection that are a little different from the norm. I like to blot this for a stain effect:
Now that it’s September I doubt you’ll be able to pick these up for to much longer, so if you fancy one don’t hang around!! Did you get a bag or are you planning to pick one up whilst they’re still available?
