I received a sample of Dr Brandt’s take on at home microdermabrasion in a birchbox and liked it so much that I swiftly ordered the full size. This heavy duty exfoliant works on both a chemical and physical level. Lactic acid penetrates the skin deeply whilst the fine, pharmaceutical grade aluminium oxide crystals polish away dead surface cells. This is one of the strongest exfoliators I have ever used (shout out also to Kate Somerville’s phenomenal ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment) yet it doesn’t leave me irritated. Dr Brandt Microdermabrasion leaves skin visibly smoothed, refined and radiant.
The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA spheres 2%
After revealing fresh, glowing skin; I treat my face to a brightening dose of vitamin C. I use The Ordinary Vitamin Suspension 23% + HA spheres 2% to smooth, brighten and plump the skin. I love this for boosting radiance however the suspension does not layer well with make up due to the grainy texture. I therefore only do this routine if I don’t need to leave the house. This little two step treatment makes me feel like I’m my own beauty therapist!!
